As a full-service, member-owned cooperative, Central Counties Co-op was born when Consumer’s Co-op and Central Lakes Cooperative merged in 2017. Although our name is only six years old, our parent companies have a rich history built on providing unmatched customer service that extends all the way back to the late 1930s.
In 80+ years of serving and supporting area farmers, we’ve made a steadfast commitment to always help them do what’s best for their operation. We back this up by offering a complete lineup of high quality agronomy products and services, refined fuels, propane for crop drying, lubricants and crop input financing from our locations in Litchfield and Atwater.
We also help our residential customers keep warm in the winter months and commercial customers running smoothly throughout the year by ensuring they always have access to a reliable supply of propane. In addition, our headquarters in Litchfield has a C-Store, Cenex® gasoline and diesel fuel, carwash, auto service center and lawn and garden store all under one roof.

Central Counties Co-op’s Board of Directors consists of eight members, each of whom serves a 3-year staggered term. Elections take place at our annual meeting.
All customers can become patrons of Central Counties Co-op and receive patronage by completing and returning our consent card (below).
To have voting privileges at our annual meeting, members must be agricultural producers who purchase at least $2500 in crop inputs annually.
Central Counties Co-op and its legacy companies have always taken exceptional pride in reinvesting in Meeker and Kandiyohi counties. Our customers, members and employees live, work and play in Litchfield, Atwater and the surrounding communities, so their success is just as important as ours.
